ABOUT INTERSECTIONS
Founded by doctor and designer, Dr Stefanie Kalfas, Intersections is a new social movement that converges the world of medicine and art to explore the possibilities of infusing health awareness into different forms of expressions.
Using the power of art, innovation and community, this Australian not-for-profit aims to inspire and empower a broad approach to wellbeing on both an individual and global level.
THE PROCESS
Intersections debuted with Dr Stefanie's gorgeous hand-sewn dresses, wonderfully presented as part of an experiential show and art-form featuring projected stunning imagery from biomedical research.
The designs and images I was involved with planning and editing had been prepared with the goal of accentuating the colour, texture, and movement of the fabric, the role of light and shadow, as well as the character of each model.
